Draft an item from a photo
Take a photo of a new thing and the form fills itself in: a name, a description, properties and tags. Each drafted field stays marked until you change it, and nothing is saved until you save.
taldro is an inventory for the things you keep in boxes, at home or at work. Put a tag on a box and put things in it. Months later, hold your phone to the tag: the box opens on the screen, with everything inside and where it belongs.

On Android and the web. iOS comes after launch.
Stick an NFC tag on it, or print a QR label from the app or the web, on paper or straight on a label printer. A barcode that is already on a thing works as its tag too.
Photograph a thing and name it, or let taldro draft the name and the details from the photo. Things go into boxes, boxes onto shelves, shelves into rooms. taldro suggests the box where things like it already live, and tells you when you seem to have one already.
Hold the phone to the tag, or scan the label. The box opens: what is inside it, and where it belongs.
Boxes in shelves in rooms, as deep as you need. Every item shows its path, so you know where it is without opening anything.
Each item has a photo, a quantity, and a number from 000-000 to 999-999 that you can write on it. Add properties like brand, colour or serial number.
Trash a box and what is in it goes with it. Restore the box and everything comes back to its place.
Share an inventory with your household or your team. Owners run it, editors change it, viewers look. People join with an invite code.
The Android app reads NFC tags, QR labels and product barcodes. The web app has everything else, from printing labels, on paper or on a label printer, to scanning a QR code with the camera. iOS comes after launch.
Export an inventory as one zip file with its items, photos, numbers and trash, and import it on another taldro server, however many photos it holds. Self-hosting comes with the launch: one compose file, five minutes.
taldro’s AI never changes your inventory by itself. It fills in a form you check, answers a question, or finds a thing from a photo.
Take a photo of a new thing and the form fills itself in: a name, a description, properties and tags. Each drafted field stays marked until you change it, and nothing is saved until you save.
Ask in plain words: where is the drill, what is in the red box, how many batteries are there, what did I add last week. The answer names the items, and each one opens with a tap. On Android you can say the question and hear the answer, and the speech never leaves the phone.
Not sure you already have one? Photograph it. taldro says what it is and shows the things in your inventory that look like it, with where each one lives. If you have none, the same photo starts the new item.
A search lists what matches your words, and below it what matches what you meant. The same runs behind two hints on a new item: the box where things like it already live, and the thing you may already have. All of it runs on the taldro server itself, with no AI provider, and none of it counts as an AI action.
On a paid plan, drafts and questions use taldro AI. On your own server you can connect your own model instead: on your own hardware it costs nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Planned prices, not bookable yet
These are the prices we plan. No paid plan can be booked yet: it comes after launch. Every plan will cost the same on taldro.com and on your own server. Home use is free. Business use is paid. AI comes with a paid plan, because every AI action costs money to run.
