Delete your taldro account
How to delete your account in taldro: Home Inventory, the app by Florian Schauer, and what happens to your data. Deutsch
Before you start
An inventory must never be left without an owner, so deletion is refused while you are the only owner of one. Make another member an owner there, or delete that inventory first: in the app under Inventory hub → Inventory settings → “Delete this inventory and everything in it”, on the web in the inventory’s settings.
In the app (Android and iOS)
- On the home screen, tap the taldro mark at the top right (Inventory hub).
- Tap “Your account”.
- Under “These cannot be undone”, type your password into “Password, to delete this account”.
- Press and hold “Delete this account”.
On the web
- Sign in and open ui.taldro.com/account.
- Under “Delete your account”, choose “Delete my account”.
- Enter your password and your email address, then choose “Delete account”.
If you can’t sign in
Email taldro@schauer.to from the address of the account and ask for it to be deleted. We delete it within 30 days.
What is deleted at once
- Your account: email address, display name and password hash.
- Every sign-in and API token, on every device, and any open email link.
- Your memberships in inventories and the invite codes you created.
- Your Ask taldro conversations and the actions they proposed.
- A plan key you redeemed.
An inventory you delete goes at once with everything in it: its items, photos, tags and codes. An inventory that still has another owner stays, with what you put into it; you are removed from it.
What is kept, and for how long
- Access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser): deleted after 31 days.
- Backups, encrypted: hourly ones are kept for a day, daily ones for a week, weekly ones for four weeks and monthly ones for 12 months. Deleted data stays in them until they age out, at most 12 months, and is used only to restore the service after a loss.
- AI usage records: one per AI action, with its kind, the AI model, the number of tokens, the cost and the time, never the photo, the question or the answer. When the account is deleted they lose every link to it and are kept, anonymised, for cost accounting, currently without a time limit.
- Data sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) when you used an AI feature: deleted by Anthropic within 30 days, unless its systems flag it as violating its usage policy (then up to 2 years).
Deleting less than the account
- A thing or a photo: delete it. A thing goes to the trash and is deleted for good after 30 days, or at once when you empty the trash.
- An inventory (owners): “Delete this inventory and everything in it” in its settings.
- Ask taldro conversations: delete one, or all with “Delete all conversations”. Otherwise each is deleted 30 days after it was last used.

- „Your account“ antippen.
- Unter „These cannot be undone“ das Passwort in „Password, to delete this account“ eingeben.
- „Delete this account“ gedrückt halten.
Im Web
- Anmelden und ui.taldro.com/account öffnen.
- Unter „Delete your account“ auf „Delete my account“ klicken.
- Ein Inventar (Eigentümer): „Delete this inventory and everything in it“ in seinen Einstellungen.
